The medallions feature the distinctive hooked edges characteristic of Caucasian weaving traditions.

Surrounding each medallion are elegant ram’s horn scrolls (koçboynuzu)—ancient tribal symbols representing power, masculinity, and fertility that have been woven into Caucasian rugs for generations. These graceful spiral forms dance across the warm field, adding movement and cultural significance to the design.

The rich terracotta field displays beautiful abrash—natural color variations that occur with hand-spun, vegetable-dyed wool—creating depth and visual interest that machine-made rugs can never replicate.
